McKillip Seeds : Rebrand


McKillip Seeds is a family-owned agricultural business that has provided seeds and advice to farmers for nearly 90 years. But for most of their history, their branding revolved around the product line they sold, rather than their own name and heritage. With the future in mind, McKillip Seeds wanted to create a more recognizable brand that would better reflect their history and values. We helped them refresh their brand with a new look and messaging focused on the heart of their well-established company.

Customers also shared their appreciation for the expert advice that comes with the products they get from McKillip Seeds.


Big helped McKillip Seeds establish a brand of their own. We developed messaging that highlighted their values and captured their voice. A brand mood board led to sharp visuals with a vintage feel to appeal to both the traditional and modern farmer. Our goal was to hint at their professionalism—without losing their family feel. With a fresh logo and messaging, this Indiana-based seed supplier is better positioned to move forward. And their brand finally reflects their reputation for relationships.


To bring it all home, Big built a brand video for McKillip Seeds to showcase their rediscovered identity. With this tool, customers can experience a proper introduction to the company in one quick view. We also produced new product packaging, field signs and a brand guide. Now, it’s easier than ever to join the McKillip Seeds family.
